The City Boys Allstars band of musicians — all 13 of them, 10 musicians, three vocalists — returns to New York City’s Cutting Room September 27, 11:30 p.m., for a 90-minute set to launch their new live album, Blinded By The Night. It was there on August 28, 2013 that theyperformed live after 17 years’ absence, full of R&B blues, funk, and jazz. Blinded By The Night drops September 2, along with a new studio album. “This show coming up, I promise we will rock the house!” exclaimed bandleader/guitarist Mike Merola, yesterday.
